--Scoring Themes for Daytime Serials  
Restricted to program openings and closings (no bridges or cues). Limitation of three (3) minutes of finished product.

Use beyond the above cycles requires an additional payment of 75% to each musician who worked on the Theme.

--General Information on All Programs  
Participating Sponsors $7.00 per 1/2 hour
Make Up and Costuming $20.00
Rest Periods 10 minutes per hour, with no more than 2 rest periods combined. Except in the case of taping live or airing live a penalty of 50% of the applicable rehearsal rate shall be imposed for the period commencing when the musicians were initially entitled to a rest period (i.e. after 2 hours in the chair plus a 5- minute grace period) and continuing until the musicians are released for their rest period. Penalties shall be imposed in 15-minute units.
Meal Periods For work beyond 6 consecutive hours without a meal break of at least 1 hour, a penalty shall be imposed equal to 2 hours at the applicable rehearsal rate plus 1/2 hour at the straight time rehearsal rate for each additional 1/2 hour delay.
Production Musicians Hourly Rehearsal Rate with 2 hour Minimum Call $71.20 per hr.
Music Sound Consultant Hourly Rehearsal Rate with 2 hour Minimum Call $71.20 per hr.
Holidays Premium pay of 200% for the following holidays: New Year's, Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas, Labor Day and President's Day.
Premium Time Span For all work performed beyond an eight (8) hour time spread in any day, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12 midnight, payment shall be at the rate of time and one half (150%) computed in 15 minute segments.
  For all work between 12 midnight and 8:00 A.M. payment shall be at the rate of time and one-half (150% computed in 15 minute segments.)
For all work beyond an eight (8) hour time spread on any day between the hours of 12 midnight and 8:00 A.M., payment shall be at the rate of double time (200%) computed in 15 minute segments.

Calls The contractor or leader shall be furnished with a rehearsal schedule at 24 hours before first rehearsal.
Musicians will be notified prior to first day of rehearsal the starting and finishing time of each day's call.

-Splitting of the Orchestra

Company will not be permitted to split an orchestras except for use of:  

1. Self-contained groups

2. Guest conductor and featured instrumentalist (not to exceed 3) accompanying guest artists.
3. Orchestras from a city other that that from where the program is being produced when called upon to perform for a single segment production number.
4. Instrumentalists called to augment the basic orchestra as required by program featured artists.

5. Production drummers as defined in exhibit II, paragraph B

 
-Incomplete Tracks
1. For "self-contained groups" - air rate for the show.
2. To the recording and music preparation musicians who made the original recording - air rate plus minimum guaranteed rehearsal.
3. To the "in-studio" orchestra - an additional 2 hours rehearsal for the first track used and 1 additional hour rehearsal for each additional track used, except when the unique music sounds produced by the track of the "guest group" cannot effectively be reproduces by the "in-studio" orchestra.
-Radio Simulcasts

-General Provisions for Electronic Instruments (Multi-Tracking)
1.The following rates and conditions, including those for theme music, may not be used in the production of variety programs and award shows.
2. Sequencing required by the Producer prior to a scoring session in order to prepare for the performance constitutes musical services rendered by the musician who performs such services.
3. At the time a musician is initially engaged, s/he shall be advised whether the multi-tracking rate or the "real time" rate applies to the session.
4. The minimum call is 3 hours.
5. If music recorded under this provision is for a daytime serial, the amount of finished music that may be recorded shall be 1 minute for each hour of the session.
NOTE: All other provisions of the agreement (e.g., premium pay, meal periods, hold hour, etc.) apply unless otherwise specified.
