| Rest Periods |
10 minutes per hour, with no more than 2 rest periods combined. Except in the case of taping live or airing live a penalty of 50% of the applicable rehearsal rate shall be imposed for the period commencing when the musicians were initially entitled to a rest period (i.e. after 2 hours in the chair plus a 5- minute grace period) and continuing until the musicians are released for their rest period. Penalties shall be imposed in 15-minute units. |
| Meal Periods |
For work beyond 6 consecutive hours without a meal break of at least 1 hour, a penalty shall be imposed equal to 2 hours at the applicable rehearsal rate plus 1/2 hour at the straight time rehearsal rate for each additional 1/2 hour delay. |

For all work performed beyond an eight (8) hour time spread in any day, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 12 midnight, payment shall be at the rate of time and one half (150%) computed in 15 minute segments. |

| 4. Instrumentalists called to augment the basic orchestra as required by program featured artists. |

-General Provisions for Electronic Instruments (Multi-Tracking) |
|
|
|
| 1.The following rates and conditions, including those for theme music, may not be used in the production of variety programs and award shows. |
| 2. Sequencing required by the Producer prior to a scoring session in order to prepare for the performance constitutes musical services rendered by the musician who performs such services. |
| 3. At the time a musician is initially engaged, s/he shall be advised whether the multi-tracking rate or the "real time" rate applies to the session. |
| 4. The minimum call is 3 hours. |
| 5. If music recorded under this provision is for a daytime serial, the amount of finished music that may be recorded shall be 1 minute for each hour of the session. |
| NOTE: All other provisions of the agreement (e.g., premium pay, meal periods, hold hour, etc.) apply unless otherwise specified. |
