	STUDIO 47		REFERRAL SERVICE
	We are privileged to be the first, and to date, the only, AFM local to have its own 32-track digital recording studio. This state-of-the-art ADAT facility gives us access to superior-quality, low-cost digital audio recording appropriate to the recording needs of those of the solo artist to those of a 60-piece orchestra. Studio 47 is a one-stop shop for everything from tracking to mixdown.		We are entitled to the free services of this in-house referral service that helps find us gigs and other musicians.The Referral Service boasts the best database of professional musicians in Southern California The Network office charges no fee to members for the gig, nor the employer for the referral.
	VIDEO 47		MUSICIANS' CREDIT UNION
	Yet another exciting service is Video 47, our in-house, S-VHS broadcast-quality video facility. Most types of video projects ranging from live shoots to "music videos", including up to three-camera shoots and video editing are all available at our Hollywood location.		Our membership gives us the privilege to join the Musicians' Credit Union, located on the second floor of our premises in Hollywood, providing us with almost all consumer financial services, all at very competitive rates.
	ON-SITE TRAVEL EMERGENCY PROTECTION		LEGAL ASSISTANCE AND ARBITRATION
	If left stranded by a promoter on a gig away from our local office, we can call the AFM's 24-hour hotline (1-800 ROAD GIG) for assistance. This help includes emergency financial advances and the retaining of an attorney at no extra cost to ourselves.		Local performances under our standard contract forms are covered by a provision referring disputes or defaults in payment to binding arbitration, enforceable in a court of law.

	We get exclusive use of rehearsal rooms on our site in Hollywood, accommodating anything from rock bands to big bands, all at super low costs.		Any individual under the age of 21 can join with no initiation fees

	Insurance for our musical instruments and accessories, with one of the most competitive rates in the industry, is available to us at a very low price.		We are affiliated with MAP, a non-profit organization specifically created to assist musicians suffering from alcohol and drug abuse.

	We receive two monthly publications of interest to our membership. The Overture informs us of local news and official activities, while the International Musician keeps us up to date on what's happening across North America.		With enough work, we receive comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and life insurance through employer-paid contributions.
